Need rest, relaxation, and renewal?  This studio cottage is the perfect getaway for an individual or couple looking for quiet time to recharge in a peaceful country setting.  This 15 acre horse farm (Flying Change Farm) is meticulously cared for and fully enjoyed by its owners and 3 beautiful horses.  It is the desire of the owners to share their "dream come true" property in hopes that it will offer their guests renewal and a much needed respite from their hectic lives!

 

This studio cottage is completely furnished and includes the following amenities:

Get back in touch with nature by taking in views of the horse pastures while sitting on the private rocking chair porch.  Take a stroll around the property, enjoy an outdoor wine & cheese picnic, and bring your binoculars for bird watching.  So, whether you are seeking an intimate get away, a quiet retreat, or a home base for exploring the Lake Norman area, there is something here for you.  It is a great place to just BE! 

Cottage rental is offered nightly (minimum of 3 nights), weekly, or monthly.  This property can accommodate corporate rentals and weekend retreats for small groups.

LOCATION:

Located in Troutman, NC, 45 minutes north of Charlotte, NC and conveniently located just off of Interstate 77. Downtown Troutman is only 6 miles away for shopping, restaurants, and other desired conveniences.  Although this property is not lakefront, it is only 20 minutes to Lake Norman State Park, which is 1,934 acres on the northern shores of Lake Norman with miles of hiking and mountain bike trails and a public swimming beach.   Want to enjoy a half day or full day of boating on Lake Norman?  Rental boats available at a local marina only 8 miles away!  It is also only 15 minutes to the lovely Davesté Vineyards where you can enjoy wine-tasting and take in the beautiful views, listen to local music in a relaxed atmosphere, and peruse the art gallery and gift shop.

**Guests will need to bring beach towels, sunscreen, coffee, coffee filters, coffee pods when applicable, paper towels, toilet paper, personal hygiene products, garbage bags, and dishwashing detergent/pods.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT & GUEST POLICY:

Check-in is at 4:00 PM on the first day of your reserved dates.

Check-out is at 10:00 AM on the final day of your reserved dates.

Guests must be 25 years or older to book our vacation rentals, no exception.

No Smoking and No Pets are allowed.

CLEANING:

The house will be professionally cleaned prior to your stay. Guests will be responsible for cleaning and trash disposal during their stay. Please note that your rental agreement will include a cleaning fee for the cleaning following your check-out.
